Fees and Costs

Fees

Fees will be set fairly and individually after a review of the potential legal work involved.

Even those with more modest means, recognize that they pay tens of thousands of dollars for an automobile, home, or other large purchase, and that this may be the most important investment of their lives.

Those charged with sophisticated crimes recognize that this will be an expensive process.

Costs

Costs are what the firm spends on expenses for you. For instance, travel, long distance, copying and binding professionally and printing for the Supreme Court; hotel and other expenses if the case is not within ready driving distance.

People have asked Ms. Bonner over the years why they should fly a lawyer to Detroit, Chicago, Arkansas, Montana, etc. rather than hire a local guy. Her response is that it is only the airfare and hotel costs which are any different from local trials. To get someone with whom you are comfortable, a plane ticket is a small extra expense.
